Industrial Designer

We are a young, dynamic apparel company looking for an industrial Designer to assist us with the production of packaging, promotional material, trade show booths, POS displays and new product development.

The ideal candidate will have th following skills:

Ability to communicate through idea sketches and working the problem out so that others understand the solution.

Creating working drawings using a 2D drafting program like vector works or Auto Cad

Creating 3D scale renderings using rhino or a comprable software.

Develop prototypes and models or lead others to do so.

Source materials and confidently negotiate with local suppliers to get the best prices and materials promptly.

Create accurate and manageable timelines for production and stick to them.

Develop a bill of materials for products and production process lists in Excel

Easily and efficiently solve problems and communicate solutions.

Understand a variety of production processes. Specifically: millworking / cabinet making (hand experience is good), Textile production: the printing methods, automated cutting and sewing machines. Paper packaging production, Offset and digital printing, Plastic Injection moulding

Fluent in English. A Good communicator.

A positive, motivated attitude.

Ability to remain organized and motivated under pressure.
